While designing a Santa Tank Cover last week I started thinking about how much I love designing crochet patterns for the holidays. As long as I can remember I have loved the holidays, especially Halloween.
When I was in elementary school we had a long drive home from Detroit to Royal Oak Michigan where we lived. On the way home we would pass a house with a huge picture window. This was not just any window, it was a window alive with festive decorations for each holiday and season. I always made sure I sat on the side of the car where I could get the closest look and these spectacular views!
I eagerly looked forward to change of seasons and holidays to see what exciting decorations they would put up next - bunnies and baskets for Easter, Santa and Elves at Christmas.
Wait until you see the new Santa Tank cover!!! It truly is one of the best crochet patterns I have ever done. It’s on our toilet here in the office. I take everyone in to see it. We should have the crochet pattern available in a couple of weeks.
Now we have a turkey, snowman, pumpkin and bunny tank cover crochet patterns in the works.
Happy Crocheting,
Maggie Weldon
